The 10 Best-Rated Restaurants in Santo Domingo

· Equipo QueHacerRD

Round-the-clock tacos, coal-fired pizza, seafood, shawarma and Naco's best coffee: the ten restaurants in the capital with the highest Google rating among those with at least 200 reviews.

The 10 Best-Rated Restaurants in Santo Domingo

This guide lists more than a thousand restaurants in Santo Domingo, and nearly all of them have someone ready to vouch for them. For this list we let the diners decide: we ranked the restaurants by their Google rating and, when two tie, by their number of reviews. Only places with at least 200 reviews count, so a perfect five from ten votes cannot beat a 4.9 backed by thousands, and we took just one location per brand.

The result says a lot about how the capital eats: few white tablecloths and plenty of casual spots that do one thing very well. Tacos, pizza, burgers, shawarma, seafood and coffee. The ratings are from September 2026 and they move: the latest one is on each restaurant's page.
