The 10 Best-Rated Restaurants in Punta Cana
· Equipo QueHacerRD
A five-star Mexican restaurant inside a resort, dim sum, two tables at BlueMall, tapas with wine and a beer garden: the ten restaurants in Punta Cana with the highest Google rating.

In Punta Cana people eat at the hotels, in the plazas of Bávaro and along the boulevards that lead to the beach. For this list we let the diners decide: we ranked the restaurants in the guide by their Google rating and, when two tie, by their number of reviews. Only places with at least 100 reviews count, so a perfect five from ten votes cannot beat a 4.9 backed by thousands.
One thing needs saying: five of the top seven spots are restaurants at the same resort, Lopesan Costa Bávaro. To keep the list useful for anyone eating out in the area, we took just one restaurant per brand or per hotel, and the resort's others are mentioned in its entry. The ratings are from September 2026 and they move: the latest one is on each restaurant's page.
1. El Charro at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort

5.0 on Google from more than 3,600 reviews: a perfect five backed by thousands of opinions, which you almost never see. Mexican cooking inside Lopesan Costa Bávaro, for a dinner for two or with the family. It is not the only star at the resort: La Bohème (European, 4.9), Mareas (international, 4.9), Inari (Asian, 4.9) and El Asador (grill, 4.8) also outrank nearly the whole city. If you are not staying there, check with the hotel whether it takes bookings from outside guests before you go.
