The 10 Best-Rated Restaurants in Santiago
· Equipo QueHacerRD
Steaks in Gurabo, seafood on Estrella Sadhalá, Dominican home cooking, tapas in an art gallery and weekend chicharrón: the ten restaurants in Santiago with the highest Google rating.

Santiago eats well and knows it. For this list we let the diners decide: we ranked the restaurants in the guide by their Google rating and, when two tie, by their number of reviews. Only places with at least 100 reviews count, so a perfect five from ten votes cannot beat a 4.8 backed by thousands, and we took just one location per brand.
The list that came out is very Santiago: grilled meat, seafood, Dominican cooking, a bit of Mexico and Spain, and two or three spots that belong more to the neighborhood than to the tourist trail. The ratings are from September 2026 and they move: the latest one is on each restaurant's page.
1. Puros y Carnes Gurabo

4.9 on Google from more than 250 reviews, the highest rating in the city. Grilled meats in Gurabo, with a terrace, live music and parking, in a setting made for an unhurried group dinner. It opens only in the evening and only Thursday to Sunday, so it is a weekend plan.
2. Amigos Seafood Steakhouse

4.8 from more than 8,700 reviews, the most reviewed restaurant in Santiago. Seafood and steaks on Avenida Salvador Estrella Sadhalá, with a terrace, live music, sports on screen and room for kids. Open every day from noon to 11:30 p.m., and one of the few places that works as well for a family dinner as for a big group.
3. Restaurante Campuno
